Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series Odds from BetVirginia
- Denny Hamlin (5 Martinsville wins) +450
- Ryan Blaney (Fall 2023 winner) +700
- Kyle Larson (Spring 2023), Christopher Bell (Fall 2022), Martin Truex Jr. (3 wins)+750

Outside of the favorites, you have Chase Briscoe at +2200 to win. Briscoe has top-10 finishes in the last four Martinsville races, including last year’s 400-lapper where he led 109 laps and finished fifth.
Josh Berry, who has had one of the best cars in the field in each true short track race this season (Richmond, Martinsville), is at +2800. Berry earned his first Xfinity Series win at Martinsville back in 2021.
A longshot for a top-10 finish is John Hunter Nemechek (+2500). Nemechek might be worth placing money on as he has proven speed on short tracks, like Bristol.

NASCAR Xfinity Series’ DUDE Wipes 250

- TV/Radio: FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio
- Stages end on laps: 60/120/250
- Practice and Qualifying: 5:05 p.m. Friday
- Most recent race at Martinsville: Justin Allgaier wins as teammates tangle in bid for Championship Four
Carson Kvapil, the 2021 CARS Super Late Model Tour Champion and 2022-23 CARS Late Model Stock Tour Champion, will make his debut in the No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet.
Kvapil follows fellow short-track ace Bubba Pollard who finished sixth in the No. 88 last week during his Xfinity Series debut at Richmond.
Taylor Gray and Aric Almirola are back in the Nos. 19 and 20 Joe Gibbs Racing entries. Almirola is racing teammate Chandler Smith, plus Jesse Love and Parker Kligerman, for the $100,000 in Dash4Cash money this weekend.
Toyota teammate Corey Heim is back in the No. 26 Sam Hunt Racing Toyota, looking to get another top-5 finish. He finished fourth behind Smith, Almirola and Gray at Richmond.
Joey Gase has two cars entered into this weekend’s race with Akinori Ogata driving the second entry. Gase expressed doubt about bringing a second entry after his wreck with Dawson Cram.
Ryan Vargas is entered with an outright No. 74 Mike Harmon Racing entry. Meanwhile, SS-Green Light Racing has Myatt Snider and Logan Bearden in their cars this weekend.
DUDE Wipes 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series Odds from DraftKings
- Aric Almirola +320
- Chandler Smith +360
- Justin Allgaier (1 Martinsville win), Cole Custer +700
- Sammy Smith +900
- Sheldon Creed +1000
- Sam Mayer +1100
- Carson Kvapil +1200
- Jesse Love +1600
The first name that jumps off the page is Carson Kvapil. He is making his Xfinity Series debut and is a favorite over Riley Herbst (+1800), past winner Brandon Jones (+2000), Austin Hill (+2500) and Parker Kligerman (+5000) who all scored a top-10 finish at Martinsville last year.
Last year at Martinsville, Sammy Smith finished second in the spring. Then, in the fall, he won the pole, led 147 of 256 laps and finished third.
Austin Hill led in the fall before getting into a skirmish with then-teammate Sheldon Creed on the final lap, handing the win to Justin Allgaier. It’s a surprise to see Hill with such high odds.
If you’re betting on a top-10 finisher, two good longshot picks are Ryan Sieg (+6000) and Kyle Weatherman (+6000).
Sieg had a top-10 run going before wrecking with Brandon Jones early on at Richmond. He has had speed this year and a ninth-place finish in the Spring 2022 Xfinity race at Martinsville.
Weatherman has also been knocking on the door of a top-10 finish at Richmond and Phoenix, two driver-oriented tracks, suggesting Martinsville could be good for him too.
TOP-10 IN THE FALL: Justin Allgaier, Sheldon Creed, Sammy Smith, Riley Herbst, Josh Berry, Daniel Hemric, Parker Retzlaff, Anthony Alfredo, Jeb Burton, Parker Kligerman
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series’ Long John Silver’s 200

- 7:30 p.m. ET Friday
- TV/Radio: FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio
- Stages end on laps: 50/100/200
- Practice and Qualifying: 3:05 p.m. Friday
Sammy Smith will make his first Truck Series start of the season. He has x more starts planned this season with Spire Motorsports.
Kaden Honeycutt is back in the No. 45 truck. Jack Wood is also back in the No. 91 truck.
One of the big additions to the field is Cam Waters, who will race the No. 66 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150. Like Shane van Gisbergen and Brodie Kostecki, Waters is another transplant from the Repco Sportscar Championship.
TOP-10 LAST YEAR: Corey Heim, Kyle Busch, Zane Smith, Ty Majeski, Tanner Gray, Ben Rhodes, Matt DiBenedetto, Taylor Gray, William Sawalich, Chase Purdy
