NASCAR at Martinsville 2024: Playoff odds, TV/radio times and more info

RIDGEWAY, Va. — A season’s worth of work comes down to Martinsville Speedway for drivers in the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series.

After this weekend, we will know the Championship 4 fields for all three NASCAR national series.

NASCAR Cup Series’ Xfinity 500 at Martinsville

  • Sunday at 2 p.m. (all times Eastern)
  • 500 laps (stages end on laps 130/260/500)
  • NBC, SIRIUSXM NASCAR Radio
  • Practice and Qualifying: Saturday at 1 p.m. (45-minute practice)
  • Drivers locked into Championship 4: Joey Logano, Tyler Reddick

There is one open team on the entry list this weekend. Josh Bilicki is in the No. 66 MBM Motorsports Ford this weekend with sponsorship from . The sponsorship deal means the team will also race the season finale at Phoenix Raceway with Chad Finchum behind the wheel.

In the revolving No. 15 Rick Ware Racing and No. 16 Kaulig Racing entries are Kaz Grala and Shane van Gisbergen, respectively.

Short-track ace Bubba Pollard is back, this time with Sam Hunt Racing in the No. 26 entry. William Sawalich is also back in the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing entry he made his Xfinity Series debut in last weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Preston Pardus is entered in his family-owned No. 50 entry. Greg Van Alst is also back, this time with SS-Green Light Racing.

Myatt Snider and Dawson Cram are entered with DGM Racing but full-time driver Kyle Weatherman is missing.

Brett Moffitt is back, this time with Hettinger Racing. The organization is making their NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut this weekend. Last month, Hettinger Racing made their debut in the ARCA Menards Series with Dawson Sutton at Bristol Motor Speedway.

You may know Hettinger Racing from late-model standout Katie Hettinger who, already at age 17, has become the winningest woman in Hickory Motor Speedway history. According to Short Track Scene, Hettinger is stepping away from racing for the time being to focus on her education.

Johnny Sauter and Hattori Racing Enterprises are back this weekend. Matthew Gould, son of Niece Motorsports crew chief Phil Gould, will race the Niece No. 44 Chevrolet this weekend.

Corey Day will get another start with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in the No. 81 Chevrolet. Jack Wood will be his teammate in the revolving No. 91 Chevrolet.

Conner Jones was suspended so Johnny Sauter will drive the No. 66 ThorSport Racing entry. Jones sparked an incident at Homestead-Miami Speedway that left Matt Mills hospitalized until Monday morning. Mills is entered to race this weekend in the Niece No. 42 entry. Landen Lewis will drive the No. 16 Hattori Toyota that Sauter was supposed to drive.

A Twin Valley, MN, native, Fjeld became a motorsports fan at just three years old (first race was the 2002 Pennsylvania 500). He worked as a contributor and writer for TRE from 2010-18.
