NASCAR Championship odds: Bristol 2026

All three premier NASCAR series hit the track together for the first time this postseason for some night racing at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Previously in the Chase, the defending champions captured their first wins of the 2026 season. Jesse Love muscled past Carson Kvapil for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series victory. Then, Kyle Larson snapped his long 51-race NASCAR Cup Series winless streak at Gateway.

Here are the current odds for each series as the Chase for a championship starts to heat up.

Cup Series Chase Standings

Denny Hamlin’s championship lead has shrunk for the second consecutive week. He opened the Chase with a 25-point gap to second place which has dwindled down to only nine.

Last week’s winner, Kyle Larson, has leaped into second in the Chase in a similar fashion to Christopher Bell after his opening Chase win at Darlington.

Bell did not fall too far down the pecking order. He currently sits 18 points behind from third.

Ryan Blaney suffered his first DNF of the Chase after his brakes said goodbye during the middle of the second stage. He has slid down two positions since the start of the postseason to each of the race winners so far.

Tyler Reddick and Ty Gibbs both had subpar performances at Gateway but remain within a race of the lead. Then, Joey Logano and crew came into St. Louis with 60 points circled as their target and he got so close to achieving the mark.

He leaves the weekend tied for sixth in points 51 points behind after obtaining a 54-point weekend.

Chase Briscoe, Chase Elliott, and Chris Buescher all DNF’d during the Enjoy Illinois 300 which saw them drop positions in the Chase standings as well.

O’Reilly Series Chase Standings

There is a new Chase leader after Gateway! Sheldon Creed has taken control of the championship from Justin Allgaier after another subpar performance from the O’Reilly Series’ regular season champion.

For Creed, the Chase has started with two great performances. A second series victory at Darlington and a second place finish at Gateway has been enough to vault him from third to first.

Though his three point gap to Allgaier in second is nowhere near comfortable. The final seven races for the O’Reilly Series should be an absolute slug-fest for the drivers within one race of the championship lead.

Jesse Love jumped back up to where he entered the Chase in fourth after his victory. He has a massive buffer to the drivers behind him from fifth on down.

Carson Kvapil is the final one of the top four competitors who have broken away from the rest. He still maintains third after winning the pole and the first stage in St. Louis.

The only driver over 100 points behind Creed is Rajah Caruth. Caurth has had a terrible opening two events of the Chase and finds himself virtually out of the title hunt.

Truck Series Chase Standings

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers will take to Bristol Motor Speedway for their first of seven Chase races.

Layne Riggs enters the Chase as the series’ regular season champion. Riggs earned a series-best nine stage wins and six victories on his way to that title. Now, he enters the Chase as the slight favorite to win it all.

He will have some stiff competition near the top. Kaden Honeycutt has kept Riggs nearly in check throughout the duration of the regular season.

Honeycutt will enter with a 25-point deficit to the leader, but will provide a tough road for Riggs in the final seven races.

Front Row Motorsports’ Chandler Smith occupies the third spot. He sits 35 points behind his leading teammate Riggs as the final driver in the Chase with multiple wins in the regular season.

Christian Eckes returned to the Truck Series after a season in the O’Reilly Series to pursue a championship. He will officially start that pursuit in fourth.

Then, Gio Ruggiero is looking to take the next step in his young career with a championship in his sophomore season.

While no Truck Series driver enters the Chase more than one race behind, a 50-point deficit holds more weight for seven races instead of the Cup Series’ ten.

Former champions Ty Majeski, Grant Enfinger, and Ben Rhodes will have to work harder than those ahead of them to add another title. Meanwhile, Mcanally-Hilgemann teammates Daniel Hemric and Tyler Ankrum will also have to inspire a miracle seven race run in order to win.
