NASCAR Championship Odds: Martinsville 2026
Here are the updated Chase standings and odds for all three NASCAR series’ as they head to the penultimate race of the season at Martinsville.

Last weekend, the expected chaos that Talladega usually provides in the postseason failed to show up.
Kyle Larson captured his first superspeedway win in the NASCAR Cup Series to hold serve atop the Chase.
His rebound to an immense 73-point lead over second place from just a five-point gap beforehand has him with one hand on the title before the final race of the season.
Then, Sammy Smith won both the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series events. With both Chase leaders in each series surviving the race, they maintained their point leads.
Kaden Honeycutt marginally expanded his lead over Layne Riggs in the Truck Series Chase while Jesse Love’s lead marginally shrank to Justin Allgaier in the O’Reilly Series.
Now, all three premier divisions head to their penultimate races in Martinsville, Virginia.
Cup Series Chase Standings

What a difference a week can make in the Chase.
Kyle Larson looked ready to relinquish his lead in the standings after Phoenix and heading into one of his worst tracks statistically at Talladega.
But the racing Gods had other plans. Larson gained a whopping 68 points over the competition with his third victory of the season and has one foot in the door to win his third Cup Series title.
His massive extension of his current Chase lead is heavily reflected in the odds below.
From there, the next three positions in the standings continue to shuffle amongst three Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota’s.
This time its Denny Hamlin who retakes the second position with only a single point between him and Christopher Bell in third. Chase Briscoe is the first driver more than one race distance away from Larson in first. He now sits fourth, 79 points behind.
The next and final three drivers who can still mathematically win the title remained stationary with their positions. Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, and Tyler Reddick hold out hope of a miracle, but will likely be eliminated from championship contention after this weekend.
Their unfavorable odds reflect that sentiment along with the remaining nine Chase drivers who have been eliminated from title contention as well.

O’Reilly Series Chase Standings

Midway through the O’Reilly Series race at Talladega, Chase leader Jesse Love looked as if he would leave Alabama without the lead.
His closest rivals, Justin Allgaier and Corey Day, collected the first and third-most stage points of all the Chase drivers while Love remained pointless to that point.
In order to stay in the lead, he needed to recapture his near-perfect superspeedway form.
In the final stage, Love did just that to finish one spot ahead of Allgaier in third and remain as the Chase leader heading into the final two races.
Even with the better final result, his lead has tightened between himself, Allgaier, and Day. Now, the blanked from first to third is just under 30 points and that sentiment can be seen in the odds below.
Former Chase leader Sheldon Creed remains in fourth with a 50-point deficit and Carson Kvapil gained 20 points on the lead to remain in the distant title hunt from fifth.
Finally, the two remaining drivers who can mathematically win the title out are Sam Mayer and last week’s winner Sammy Smith.
Their odds look bleak as they look primed to join the other five Chase drivers already out of title contention which can be seen below.

Truck Series Chase Standings

The Truck Series Chase has been a two-horse race for nearly its entire run and the top two held steady again this past weekend.
Neither of them captured the checkered flag, but crucially each of them kept the other in check as they both ran inside the top five and finished well at the superspeedway.
Kaden Honeycutt will remain as the Chase leader entering the final two events of the season as he was able to gain four additional points over Layne Riggs.
Below them a lot has shifted. Ty Majeski now occupies the third Chase position after leaping both Chandler Smith and Christian Eckes.
Unfortunately for all three of them, they will only be battling among themselves for the remainder of the season.
Each of them sit over 140 points behind Honeycutt and, while they may still mathematically be alive to contend for the championship, their odds below reflect how little chances they stand to win.
They are nearly guaranteed to join the other five truckers as eliminated from championship contention after their bout on the paperclip at Martinsville this Friday night.
