NASCAR: Cole Custer returns to Haas Factory Team in 2027
Cole Custer will continue his role as driver of the No. 41 Haas Factory Chevrolet next season.

The team announced Friday, October 9, Custer has been “extended for 2027.”
“We are excited to have Cole Custer back in the 41,” team owner Gene Haas said in a statement. “…Cole is a championship caliber driver who brings the consistency we need on a weekly basis and we are proud to continue to support him in the NASCAR Cup Series.”
Custer has competed full-time in the Cup Series since 2025 with HFT, his second stint as a full-time competitor in the series.

Custer raced under the Stewart-Haas Racing from 2020 to 2022, winning a race at Kentucky in 2020 and qualifying for the Chase (formerly NASCAR Playoffs) that year.
Last year, Custer posted 2 Top-5 finishes, both as superspeedways, finishing 32nd overall in points.
This year, Custer is ranked 32nd in points, with a season-high finish of 10th at Daytona in August.
