The end of the NASCAR Cup Series regular season is finally upon us as the Southern 500 is the only thing that stands between us and the playoffs.

After 25 weekends of racing, 13 drivers are locked into the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs with a win:

Kyle Larson (four wins), Christopher Bell (three wins), Denny Hamlin (three), William Byron (three), Tyler Reddick (two wins), Ryan Blaney (two), Chase Elliott (one win), Alex Bowman (one), Austin Cindric (one) Brad Keselowski (one), Daniel Suarez (one), Harrison Burton (one), Joey Logano (one).

Currently holding the final three spots on points are Martin Truex Jr. (+58 points to the cutline), Ty Gibbs (+39) and Chris Buescher (+21) currently hold the final three spots. But within striking distance are Bubba Wallace (-21 points to the cutline) and Ross Chastain (-27) and 16 other drivers who will do whatever they can to win to get in.

On the other hand you have Shane van Gisbergen, who will get his biggest test before he goes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series next season. He will race the rotating No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet next season.

Kaz Grala is back in the rotating No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford for the first time since Chicago. Timmy Hill and the No. 66 MBM Motorsports Ford are also back together for the first time since Circuit of the Americas.
