NASCAR Cup Series race to be preempted in some markets
The NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course will be preempted in six TV markets.
The Cup Series race will go green at around 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC. When they do, Kansas City viewers can find the race on KMCI, while the Chiefs-Saints preseason football game airs on KSHB.
The Chiefs-Saints game will fully preempt the game from KJRH in Tulsa, Okla. KSBY in the Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-San Luis Obispo market will also fully preempt the race, in favor of the 49ers-Raiders game.
WLBT in Jackson, Miss., KPLC in Lake Charles, La., and WMC in Memphis, Tenn. will all join the race in progress at 4 p.m. ET/3 p.m. CT. Those stations will air the Chiefs-Saints game.
The race is available anywhere on the NBC Sports app and NBCSports.com.
