NASCAR extends Stage 2 of Cup Series race at Texas

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Officials extended the length of Stage Two for the NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway.

Stage Two will end on lap 165, instead of lap 160. Officials made this move to make the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400’s stage lengths uniform with other 400-mile races this season on similar 1.5-mile tracks.

The stages for the NASCAR Cup Series race will end on laps 80, 165 and 267 now. The race kicks off just after 3:30 p.m. ET on USA Network, PRN affiliates and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Ch. 90.
