NASCAR indefinitely suspends Truck Series driver Daniel Dye

NASCAR and Kaulig Racing has indefinitely suspended Craftsman Truck Series driver Daniel Dye effective immediately after insensitive comments directed towards INDYCAR’s David Malukas on social media Monday night.

Kaulig and RAM have not named a replacement driver for this weekends race at Darlington at this time.

Dye ran full-time in the Truck Series while making select NASCAR Oโ€™Reilly Auto Parts Series starts in a second AM Racing entry.

He returned to trucking after his Oโ€™Reilly Series rookie campaign ended when Kaulig Racing shut down its program to focus on RAMโ€™s Truck effort.

He sat 13th in the Truck Series standings, firmly in the hunt for a Chase spot just three points behind teammate Justin Haley before the suspension.

Daniel Dye released this statement on his X account below.
