NASCAR moves up start of Cup Series race at Dover

DOVER, DEL. — The NASCAR Cup Series’ Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway will start one hour earlier Sunday.

The sanctioning body scheduled the start time for around 2 p.m. ET Sunday. However, because of a high chance of rain, the 400-mile race will start at 1 p.m., instead.

NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying is set for 10:35 a.m. Coverage begins on FS2 and shifts to FS1 at 11 a.m.

These are the groups for practice and qualifying with the metrics that will set the lineup, should qualifying be rained out.
