Hocevar finished third while Blaney’s raceday ended with a 33rd-place finish after contact from Hocevar late in Stage 3 sent Blaney into the outside retaining wall, ending his race on lap 457. The two were racing for second.

After the race, Blaney approached Hocevar on pit road and appeared to shove Hocevar.

Hocevar proceed to throw punches at Blaney, appearing to land two on his head. Blaney fell to the ground but proceeded to get up and tried to engage with Hocevar more.

At that point, personnel on pit road attempted to create distance between Blaney and Hocevar.

Blaney rushed towards Hocevar and appeared to land one punch on Hocevar before NASCAR officials moved Blaney away from Hocevar.

The entire ordeal lasted under 30 seconds.
