NASCAR Truck Series Chase Bubble Watch
It’s time to look at who can make the Chase as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series’ regular season will come to an end this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Drivers Standings

Six drivers are currently locked into the 2026 Chase heading into EJP 175 at New Hampshire.
Layne Riggs has two hands on the regular season Truck Series title but can still lose to Kaden Honeycutt. A DNF and a Honeycutt dominating win could vault the Tricon Garage driver to the first seed.
Chandler Smith has not only locked into the chase but has locked into the third seed as well. He is too far between the two positions for any ground to be loss or made.
Then, Christian Eckes returned to the series full-time and will fight for a championship. Gio Ruggiero sits 22 points behind Eckes in fifth as he looks to take the next step in his career with a championship.
Finally, Ty Majeski locked into the Chase despite his rough weekend at Richmond.
Bubble Watch
Grant Enfinger has climbed to his highest points position of the season in seventh. He sits 65 points to the good and will likely clinch a Chase spot if he scores stage points on Saturday.
Ben Rhodes occupies eighth, 53 points to the good, in the regular season standings. Rhodes enters in a stable position to make the Chase and should if he keeps his truck clean to the finish.
The final two drivers currently above the cutline need to have steady top-15 days to qualify.
Daniel Hemric is ninth and 35 points ahead of the cutline. Finally, Tyler Ankrum jumped into the Chase after a rocky Richmond for Stewart Friesen. He is 20 points ahead of Friesen as a result.
Six drivers below the cutline could somehow qualify too.
Stewart Friesen and Jake Garcia are the most likely to jump into a Chase position if Ankrum and Hemric have early problems. They sit 20 and 21 points behind and could play spoiler.
The next four are unlikely to make any noise but mathematically are still in the hunt.
Brenden Queen’s rookie campaign has had a high learning curve for he and RAM as a whole. But, he is their highest positioned driver in 13th, 47 points behind.
Just behind him is Andres Perez de Lara. The lone full-time Niece entrant is 49 points behind the cut but comes back to the track where he has led the most laps in his career to try to change that.
Lastly, Tanner Gray and Justin Haley sit 59 and 70 points behind and both need miracles to contend.
Owners Standings

The Truck Series’ owners standings looks vastly different than the drivers. Many full-time drivers will not qualify their trucks for the owners championship.
Even still, six teams are locked into the Chase and the top two remain the same. Front Row Motorsports’ No. 34 can clinch the regular season championship if they can score any points.
Then, the same constraints apply to the Tricon Garage No. 11 entry in order to leap into first.
The first difference is in third. Spire Motorsports No. 7 entry has two wins on the season thanks to the late Kyle Busch and is locked into the Chase.
Both Front Row Motorsports trucks return to the Chase as their No. 38 entry sits locked in fourth only five points behind the No. 7.
Tricon Garage’s second locked truck is different than the drivers standings. Their No. 1 entry sits fifth with their rotating cast of drivers. Corey Heim helped the entry the most with his brace of wins.
Finally, McAnally-Hilgemann Racing will likely have only one entry make the owners Chase with their No. 91 entry already locked into the field in sixth.
Bubble Watch
Tricon Garage will very likely have a third entry locked into the Chase midway through the EJP 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Their No. 17 entry sits in seventh 69 points to the good.
Niece Motorsports No. 45 entry comes into the final regular season race with an amazing shot to clinch. They sit 56 points to the good thanks to consistent runs led by Ross Chastain and Landen Lewis.
Spire Motorsports can get both of their all-star full-time entries into the Chase. Their No. 77 entry will end the regular season with a 41 point gap and a 16-year-old at the wheel. Tristian McKee needs another solid run just like his debut last weekend at Richmond to lock the entry into the Chase.
Then Thorsport Racing looks to claim the final owners championship Chase spot. Their No. 88 entry occupies the final spot heading into the final race but only 21 points ahead of the cutline.
Just below them are the Halmar Friesen Racing No. 62. The team has tapped Christopher Bell to make the charge into the Chase at New Hampshire. But, the NASCAR Cup Series driver has to contend with one of the best on the short tracks in Ty Majeski to do so.
Four more entries can still make the Chase but will need everything to go their way this weekend to do so.
CR7 Motosports’ lone entry sits 32 points below in 12th. The team will likely contend for a drivers championship but not the owners.
The same can be said about the Thorsport Motorsports No. 99 and the McAnally-Hilgemann Racing No. 18 and No. 19 entries. They are too far back to truly get in but will take solace that their drivers will likely go for the drivers championship.
Finally, the Tricon Garage No. 5 entry sits 14th and 62 points behind. John Hunter Nemechek will have a tall task to will that ride to the Chase for the first part of his double-duty weekend.
