Natalie Decker details Talladega withdrawal

TALLADEGA, Ala. — Natalie Decker detailed why DGM Racing withdrew the No. 36 Chevrolet she was set to drive in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Talladega.
Decker posted on social media that the entry had a sponsor pending NASCAR approval. She planned to race at Talladega until NASCAR didn’t approve the sponsor.
However, Decker said they knew this information before NASCAR released the entry list.
“But, mistakes happen and my name was accidentally still on there,” Decker said. “I’m sad I can’t be racing this weekend but I’m excited to announce some things very soon!”
There is no word on what the sponsor was going to be.
Had Decker been able to race in the Ag-Pro 300 Saturday at Talladega, it would’ve been her second Xfinity Series start at the 2.66-mile superspeedway. She finished 24th on the lead lap in her first Talladega start in April 2021.

Decker raced the No. 36 DGM Racing Chevrolet at Daytona with sponsored AMPED Fitness. She led seven laps under green and finished 18th on the lead lap.
Decker hasn’t announced any further plans.
