Niece Motorsports retains Andrés Pérez de Lara for the full 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season
SALISBURY, N.C. — Niece Motorsports announces the resigning of sophomore NASCAR Truck Series driver Andrés Pérez de Lara alongside the teams new anchor partner Acceptance Insurance.
Veteran crew chief Wally Rodgers will also be back with the Niece Motorsports 44 entry as well.

Pérez de Lara, 20, had an interesting rookie year in the Truck Series. His season started off at Spire Motorsports but the rookie never quite seemed to find his footing with the team. So after 17 races, the driver and team split amicably.
A short free agency followed as he quickly found a home with Niece Motorsports.
A strong run at New Hampshire, where he went on to lead 47 laps and collect stage points in both stages, cemented where he would finish out the season.
Now, he will continue where he left his 2025 campaign off as he jumps back into the driver seat of the 44 truck for the full Truck Series season in 2026.
“I’m incredibly excited to partner with Acceptance Insurance for this next step in my career,” said Pérez de Lara.
“It means a lot to represent a company that supports drivers at every level, and I’m grateful to Acceptance and Niece Motorsports for the confidence they’ve placed in me.”
