If he has it his way, David Ragan would like to return to the driver’s seat of the No. 34 Ford for Front Row Motorsports next season.

“I still love racing and have intentions on being back at Front Row Motorsports next year,” Ragan said.

The 32-year-old driver has competed full-time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup since 2007.

Ragan is in year two of his second stint at FRM. He previously drove for the team from Feb. 2012 to Feb. 2015.

This year, Ragan has earned one top-10 finish and sits 25th in driver’s standings. His average finish of 23rd this season is his highest since 2011.

Ragan said what’s made the difference this year for the team is the more money spent by the team along with better racecars, engines and the support from Ford.

“In this sport, it’s often a direct relationship with how much you spend to how well you run,” Ragan said. “To spend a little bit more money, we were happy to see a little bit of improvement there.”

In his total time at FRM, Ragan has earned nine top-10 finishes for the organization and picked up the team’s first Cup Series win at Talladega in 2013.
