Rain cancels Wurth 400 qualifying, Kyle Busch earns pole
DOVER, Del. — Rain washed out qualifying for the Würth 400 at Dover and gave Kyle Busch the pole for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race.
Busch will start alongside Christopher Bell, using the qualifying metrics system.
The rain hit with three minutes left in practice. Everyone posted a lap and Brad Keselowski ran the fastest lap.
Many drivers reported severe tire wear due to a lack of rubber laid down on the track.
Austin Dillon wrecked and Erik Jones spun in practice. Dillon will go to a backup car and start in the rear of the field Sunday.
