Reddick fastest in Xfinity final practice; Custer fastest in first

KANSAS CITY, Kan —Tyler Reddick was fastest in second practice Friday for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Kansas Lottery 300 (October 17) at Kansas Speedway.

Reddick posted the fastest time with 31.104 seconds at 173.611 MPH, with 47 laps run in the 50-minute practice.

Playoff drivers Christopher Bell, Cole Custer, Noah Gragson and Justin Allgaier rounded out the top five. Remaining Playoff drivers Austin Cindric, Michael Annett and Chase Briscoe placed ninth, 11th and 15th respectively in final practice.

Ross Chastain and Harrison Burton, who each announced new deals this weekend, were 7th fastest and 12th fastest respectively.

Cole Custer was fastest in first practice with a time of 31.116 seconds (173.544 MPH). Custer is second in Xfinity points (-12 behind Christopher Bell) and ran 16 laps in first practice. 

Qualifying for the Kansas Lottery 300 will take place Saturday.

The Kansas Lottery 300 from Kansas Speedway will be televised Saturday 3 p.m., NBC.
