Roush-Fenway Keselowski Racing on Wednesday named David Ragan to drive its No. 60 Ford Mustang in the Daytona 500.

Ragan will kick off the new Stage 60 project RFK Racing unveiled this week on Wednesday (Nov. 29). The organization described the No. 60 as the winningest number in its history and as a number that will be “synonymous with new RFK drivers in the future.”

Ragan raced for the organization in the Cup Series full-time from 2006 to 2011.

2024 will be the first time since 2016 the organization will field more than two racecars for an event.

Mark Martin, Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards each won big driving the Roush No. 60 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Current RFK driver Chris Buescher won the 2015 NXS title over Chase Elliott while driving the No. 60.

The last time the No. 60 raced in the Cup Series was in 2011 under Germain Racing.

Ragan last raced in the Cup Series in 2022, posting two Top-10 finishes in four starts.
