Ross Chastain climbs to 40th on NGOTS wins list
Ross Chastain was winless in his first 65 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. Since then, the Florida-native has won in three of his last eight races in the series.
Chastain, 26, picked up his third career win in the NGOTS Saturday (July 27) in the Gander RV 150 at Pocono Raceway.
The victory tied Chastain with Rich Bickle, Clint Bowyer, Ty Dillon, Justin Haley, Andy Houston, Tyler Reddick and Dave Rezendes for 40th all-time on the series wins list.
If Chastain finds Victory Lane again in 2019, he will tie Ryan Blaney, Kurt Busch, Rick Carelli, Tony Raines, Jay Sauter and David Starr at four wins for 34th overall.
The next race for the Truck Series will be the Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway, scheduled for Thursday night, August 1.
