Ryan Newman returns with special first win throwback at Darlington

This weekend at Darlington, Ryan Newman returns to the NASCAR Cup Series with a special throwback to his first Cup Series win.

Newman’s No. 51 Ford will sport the black and white scheme he won with at Loudon, N.H., in September 2002.

The logos has almost the same design as the logos on Newman’s scheme in 2002. The No. 51 has the same font as the No. 12, as well.

This Sunday’s Goodyear 400 is Newman’s first race with RWR. The 18-time Cup Series winner is running the race to qualify for the May 20 All-Star Open at North Wilkesboro.

Newman will also race for RWR at Richmond, Bristol and Martinsville.
