Timmy Hill earns career-best finish with runner-up result at Daytona

Timmy Hill didn’t get a last-lap opportunity at Jeremy Clements, but the MBM Motorsports driver left Daytona Saturday morning with a career-best finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Hill finished second in the Wawa 250 at Daytona International Speedway, his first Top-5 finish of the 2022 season.
Hill’s prior highest finish was a third-place finish at Daytona in February 2020, also coming with MBM.
The 29-year-old driver has earned two overall Top-5 finishes and seven Top-10 finishes in the Xfinity Series in 235 starts.
Five of his Xfinity Series Top-10 finishes have come at Daytona.
