Todd Gilliland gets second Top-10 of 2025 at Martinsville
Todd Gilliland secured his second top-10 finish of the season, wheeling the No.34 car to a 10th-place finish in the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Sunday.ย

Gillilandโs other Top-10 came at COTA where he also finished 10th. His finish Sunday is his second career Top-10 at Martinsville, his other coming in the fall of 2023 where he finished 10th.
“Itโs nice to get on the right track after the last couple of weeks weโve had,” Gilliland said.
Gilliland has won at the track before, claiming victory in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series back in 2019.
Gillilandโs success has mainly come at superspeedways and road courses, but Martinsville seems to be the short track Gilliland can sneak his way into solid finishes at.
He didnโt grab any stage points throughout Sundayโs race, but Gilliland hung around long enough to make his way into the Top-10 when it mattered.ย
“We knew this was gonna be a good one and I feel super confident when we come to Martinsville in myself, so we did a good job of executing all week,” Gilliland said.
As far as his season, itโs likely Gilliland will need a win to qualify for the playoffs.ย

Gilliland currently sits 22nd in the points standings, 34 points below the cutline. He isnโt mathematically in must-win territory, but winning still remains his clearest path to the playoffs.
Perhaps his next best shot to snatch that victory will probably be Talladega in three weeks, a place where he has three top-10s in just six Cup Series starts.
The Cup Series now turns their sights to Darlington Raceway for the Goodyear 400, set to go green next Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
