Trackhouse Racing purchases Chip Ganassi’s team

Trackhouse Racing has purchased Chip Ganassi’s NASCAR team and will become a two-car operation in 2022, the team announced Wednesday.

The team held a news conference at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

The transfer of Chip Ganassi’s assets will be completed at the end of the 2021 season.

Trackhouse Racing, a first-year team in the Cup Series, fields the No. 99 entry with Daniel Suarez.
