Ty Dillon to join Corey LaJoie at Spire Motorsports in 2023

Ty Dillon will join Corey LaJoie at Spire Motorsports for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season, the team announced Tuesday, Oct. 18.
Dillon, who drove this season for Petty-GMS Racing, joins the organization full-time next year. Dillon will pilot the No. 77 for the team, led by Kevin Bellicourt who has been the crew chief for the No. 77 since 2021.
LaJoie will continue racing the organization’s No. 7 car full-time, which he has done since 2021. Ryan Sparks will be his crew chief in their fourth season together.

Spire Motorsports fielded two full-time entries this season, with LaJoie in the No. 7 and Justin Allgaier, Josh Bilicki, Landon Cassill and Mike Rockenfeller taking turns in the No. 77.
Spire Motorsports has competed full-time in the Cup Series since 2019, fielding a full-time car with multiple drivers in 2019 and 2020.
The organization won a rain-shortened race at Daytona in July 2019 with driver Justin Haley.
