The victory came in Gibbs’ 131st career start and fourth full-time season.

“One win doesn’t change my career not one bit,” Gibbs said in his post-race comments to the media at Bristol Motor Speedway. “I knew I was capable of it. My team, obviously I know they’re capable of it.

“Yeah, doesn’t mean anything. I could win the next five or just win this one and be done for a long time. It doesn’t mean anything.

“I feel like I knew I was capable of doing it. It’s obviously about putting it together. We’ve had great runs in the past.”

Prior to Bristol, Gibbs’ highest finish was second-place on two occasions: Darlington in 2024 and Chicago in 2025.

By the Numbers

Across its 78-year history, 2,997 drivers have started at least one points-awarding NASCAR Cup Series races.

Over a third of those drivers, 1,074, have finished inside the Top-10 at least once.

Of that list, 548 have scored at least one Top-5 finish.

From there, 207 drivers have won in the series.

Of the winners, 144 have won multiple Cup races.
