Ty Gibbs to continue driving No. 45
Ty Gibbs will continue his interim role driving the No. 45 Toyota in place of Kurt Busch.
Kurt Busch announced Thursday, August 18, he would not be behind the wheel of his Cup Series car this weekend at Watkins Glen and the following week at Daytona.
“This decision was not an easy one, but the right one,” Busch wrote in a social media post.
Busch said his goal is to be back by the start of the NASCAR Playoffs.
