Ty Majeski’s victory in the UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics Thursday night (Sept. 15) made the 28-year-old driver the newest winner in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Majeski led the final 45 laps in the race at Bristol Motor Speedway to capture the win in his 40th series start.
“I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this,” Majeski said. “Thank you to Duke, Rhonda and Allison Thorson, thank you for this opportunity. Just so proud to be here.
“We came guns blazing for this race and brought our best truck.”
The win was Majeski’s first in any of the national series NASCAR sanctions.
Majeski is the 120th different winner in the series, joining Corey Heim as the other first-time winner in the series in 2022.
