Ty Majeski on Truck Series Talladega Pole
TALLADEGA, Ala. — Ty Majeski rockets to the NASCAR Truck Series pole for the Love’s RV Stop 225 at Talladega Superspeedway.
This is his third pole of the season and his 14th career pole in the Truck Series.

Majeski enters the fifth Truck Series Chase race in fifth-place and becomes the 19th different driver to win a Talladega pole in the series to aid in his potential surge to a second title.
He will be joined by newly announced series rookie in 2027, Sammy Smith, on the front row in the Spire Motorsports No. 7. The current NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series driver will double-dip during his big weekend.
Then, Chase leader Kaden Honeycutt will start as the highest-qualified Toyota from third. A top five starting spot will help his odds at stage points in the minimal twenty-lap opening stage.
His teammate and defending race winner Gio Ruggiero will start alongside him on the second row from fourth.
Cole Butcher will return to his current Thorsport No. 13 ride in 2027 and kicked off his announcement with a top five starting position from fifth.
Austin Green will make his first career Truck Series start in the Spire Motorsports No. 77 from sixth. Green was recently released from Peterson Racing in the O’Reilly Series.
Tyler Ankrum will start seventh. This might be his final superspeedway start in the series as he is heavily linked to a O’Reilly Series ride for 2027.
Corey Heim returns to the trucks for the first time since his runners-up results at Richmond. He will start eight besides Ankrum.
Layne Riggs will look to strike back from ninth. Finally, Ben Rhodes rounds out the top ten from the fifth row with Riggs in tenth.
Notable Entrants
Four Chase drivers qualified outside of the top ten. Chandler Smith leads the remaining contingency from 14th. Grant Enfinger will start 18th, then Christian Eckes will start 20th, finally Daniel Hemric will start from 27th.
A few notable names returned to the series for another superspeedway event. NASCAR hall-of-famer Tony Stewart is back in the Kaulig RAM No. 25 all-star truck and starts 29th.
Frankie Muniz returns to the series for the first time since his Mustang sports cars championship and starts 31st.
Cleetus McFarland will make another start in the Niece Motorsports No. 4 entry ahead of each of them from 24th.
ARCA champion Thomas Annunziata will make a surpirse start in the Tricon Garage No. 5 from 19th.
Then, Dawson Sutton will make Rackley W.A.R.’s final Truck Series start after six seasons in operation from 26th.
Finally, Cory Roper and Clay Greenfield each make the field as they return to the series for their final race of 2026.
38 entrants competed for 36 starting positions which meant two truckers failed to make the race. They were Norm Benning and Brian Dauzat who each fail to make what could potentially become their final race weekend of their career.
