NASCAR at Kansas 2024: Odds, entry lists, TV times, points and more

Here are the odds, entry lists, TV/radio times, points standings and more information for the NASCAR Cup and Craftsman Truck Series at Kansas Speedway.

NASCAR Cup Series – AdventHealth 400 at Kansas

  • 3 p.m. Sunday (all times Eastern)
  • TV/Radio: FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio
  • Stages end on laps 80/165/267
  • Practice and qualifying: 5 p.m. Saturday

NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers Riley Herbst and Austin Hill will take their turn in the Cup Series. Herbst will drive the No. 15 Ford for Rick Ware Racing while Hill will drive the No. 33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing.

Herbst and Hill have a start apiece so far in 2024. Hill finished 38th at Texas Motor Speedway, out after 98 laps with steering issues. Meanwhile, Herbst finished 24th, 1 lap down, in the Daytona 500.

Hill isn’t the only open entry. Jimmie Johnson is back in the No. 84 AdventHealth Toyota for Legacy Motor Club.

LMC has Erik Jones listed in the No. 43 Toyota but his status is still questionable with his back injury. If Jones isn’t cleared to race, Corey Heim will fill in.

Heim finished 25th, three laps down, in the No. 43 Toyota last week in Dover.

Derek Kraus will get another turn in the rotation Kaulig Racing has for its No. 16 Chevrolet. Kraus finished 28th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and 35th at Phoenix Raceway after crashing on lap 203.

Brett Moffitt is back in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the first time since winning at Talladega Superspeedway in the fall.

Connor Mosack is also back in the series, racing Spire Motorsports’ No. 7 Chevrolet. The No. 45 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet he finished 19th in at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will have Kaden Honeycutt in it.

Honeycutt has been impressive in the No. 45 ride. He finished sixth at Atlanta, 12th at Bristol and ninth at Martinsville Speedway.

Repco Supercars driver Cam Waters is in the No. 66 Ford for ThorSport Racing. Waters finished 30th in the ride during his NASCAR debut at Martinsville.

Zane Smith is the only NASCAR Cup Series driver in the field, racing the No. 91 Chevrolet for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing. He has raced the truck three times this year: Las Vegas (finished eighth), Bristol (third) and Texas Motor Speedway (fifth with eight laps led).

Jennifer Jo Cobb is entered in her No. 10 Chevrolet. Cobb’s last NCTS race was at Kansas Speedway in the fall. She failed to qualify for the season opener in February at Daytona.

Jonathan Fjeld is the co-owner of the The Racing Experts, LLC. He has been with TRE since 2010.

A Twin Valley, MN, native, Fjeld became a motorsports fan at just three years old (first race was the 2002 Pennsylvania 500). He worked as a contributor and writer for TRE from 2010-18. Since then, he has stepped up and covered 24 NASCAR race weekends and taken on a larger role with TRE. He became the co-owner and managing editor in 2023 and has guided the site to massive growth in that time.

Fjeld has covered a wide array of stories and moments over the years, including Kevin Harvick's final Cup Series season, the first NASCAR national series disqualification in over 50 years, Shane van Gisbergen's stunning win in Chicago and the first Cup Series race at Road America in 66 years – as well as up-and-coming drivers' stories and stories from inside the sport, like the tech it takes for Hendrick Motorsports to remain a top-tier team.

Currently, he resides in Albuquerque, N.M., where he works for KOB 4, an NBC station. He works as a digital producer and does on-air reports. He loves spending time with friends and family, playing and listening to music, exploring new places, being outdoors, reading books and writing among other activities.
