A.J. Allmendinger, Ryan Ellis each complete 100th Xfinity Series start

HAMPTON, Ga. — A.J. Allmendinger and Ryan Ellis each hit the century mark in Xfinity Series starts Saturday in the RAPTOR King of Tough 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Allmendinger, who led eight laps, started seventh and finished 13th while Ellis started 34th and finished 25th.

Allmendinger and Ellis are the 164th and 165th different drivers to reach the 100-start mark.

Allmendinger made his series debut in 2007. Allmendinger, 42, made his series debut in 2007. 2024 is his third full-time season in the series, having raced previously in 2021 and 2022.

In 100 races, Allmendinger has amassed 11 poles, 17 wins, 50 Top-5 finishes, 69 Top-10 finishes and 1,280 laps led.

Ellis made his series debut in 2012. Racing for various owners including Jimmy Means, Rick Ware, and currently Tommy Joe Martins, Ellis’ highest finish is 11th-place twice, both with Martins’ team.

Kenny Wallace has the all-time most starts in the Xfinity Series with 547 races. Positions 2-5 are Jeff Green (535), Jason Keller (520), Mike Wallace (497) and Jeremy Clements (466).
