Austin Hill ties 2 former champions on Xfinity wins list

HAMPTON, Ga. — By winning his second straight Xfinity Series race, Austin Hill continues to climb the NASCAR Xfinity Series wins list.

Hill captured the RAPTOR King of Tough 250 Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, his second win of 2024 and the eighth of his career.

Hill is now tied with former RCR driver and Xfinity Series champion Clint Bowyer, Kasey Kahne, Jamie McMurray, and two-time series champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

The drivers are all tied for 54th all-time on the series’ wins list. Ahead of Hill on the wins list includes — all at nine wins — includes Austin Dillon, David Green, Jimmy Hensley, Erik Jones, Rick Mast, John Hunter Nemechek and Kenny Wallace.

Additionally, Hill is the fourth driver in Xfinity Series history to win the first to races of the season. Dale Earnhardt (1986), Chad Little (1995) and Tony Stewart (2008) are the previous drivers to do so.
