Alfredo earns first career NASCAR Cup Series Top-10 finish

In a race that went nuts as the rain approached, Anthony Alfredo drove the No. 38 Georgia Peanuts Ford to a career-best 10th-place finish in Monday’s rain-shortened YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Alfredo ran 13th at the Lap 25 competition caution and was in and around the Top 10 during the final 13-lap green-flag run. He earned his first career Top 10 finish after avoiding a Lap 117 multi-car wreck that brought out the race-ending caution.
Alfredo’s previous best career finish was 12th at Talladega in April. 2021 is the Rookie of the Year contender’s first full-time season in any of the top three NASCAR national series.
Alfredo posted a video to social media following the race.
