Bristol brings another Top-5 for Brad Keselowski
BRISTOL, Tenn. — Perhaps its the tale of two different seasons in 2024 for Brad Keselowski.

When the 2012 series champion crossed the line third in the Food City 500 Sunday at Bristol Motor Speedway, it was his second Top-5 finish in a row; a stark difference from opening the season with two crashes at Daytona and Atlanta.
“It was a pretty good day for us with RFK and the 6 car,” Keselowski said. “We just kind of ran top five pretty much the whole race and kept them honest. I got ran into on one of those pit caution cycles.
“That did a little damage to the front end, otherwise I think I could have had a shot to win it today, but still solid to come home third. It was a really good week.”
Keselowski enjoyed the element of the unexpected tire wear, saying it was fun.

After starting 17th, Keselowski earned 16 stage points and earned 50 overall points — the most of any driver at Bristol.
“We ran really solid and came away with a great finish and a ton of points. Itโs the kind of weekend where we feel like we can come back here in the fall and win,” Keselowski said.
Keselowski finished fourth last week at Phoenix and third at Bristol, the first time he’s posted two Top-5 finishes in a row since 2021.
Keselowski now ranks 13th overall in driver’s standings with a 15-point advantage over the playoff cutline, the first time he has held a playoff-eligible position this year. Leaving Atlanta, Keselowski was 33rd in points.
Keselowski enters Circuit of the Americas, the next race on the schedule this Sunday, with a 93-race winless streak, dating back to Talladega in April 2021.
