Brad Keselowski provides update on NASCAR future
2012 NASCAR Cup Series Brad Keselowski provided an update to his racing plans Saturday (Oct. 31).

Keselowski addressed the media at Martinsville Speedway Saturday ahead of on-track activity for the Xfinity 500.
While he did not provide an official announcement of where he is driving next year, Keselowski’s press conference shed light on his eventual departure and what his future can hold.
Keselowski revealed the path forward for the team and himself beyond 2026 had been talked about “11 months ago” but both sides could not come to an agreement.
“My partners saw that differently, and we were not able to come to an agreement,” Keselowski said, adding the process has been non-adversarial. “…I’m thankful for the time we had together.”
Ahead of the press conference, RFK Racing released a statement Saturday morning that the team and Keselowski “have come to a mutual agreement” to allow Brad to continue his racing career elsewhere.
“Brad will be a passive investor of RFK Racing, thus concluding his role in governance, competition oversight, and board participation,” the statement said in part.

Keselowski said he has a 20 percent ownership role in the team and is looking to sell his stake.
In regards to 2027 and beyond, Keselowski said he has opportunities to race in the NASCAR Cup Series “in front of me.”
Keselowski said he is allowed to race for any Cup team, no matter the manufacturer.
The news initially broke in late September Keselowski would leave the team at season’s end.
Keselowski and RFK Racing president Chip Bowers each addressed the split at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in October.
In his five seasons racing for RFK Racing, Keselowski has won one race, the 2024 May Darlington event.
Keselowski has raced full-time in the Cup Series since 2010, racing for Team Penske from late 2009 to the end of the 2021 season. Across his career, he has won 36 races.
