MARTINSVILLE, Va. — While Brandon Jones earned the pole for the DUDE Wipes 250 at Martinsville Speedway, he may not start there Saturday night.

Jones ran a 19.694-second lap time, tying the track record Ty Gibbs set. Immediately afterward, however, he told FS1 that the team found a hairline crack in the brake rotor that they planned to address.

Should the team need to change the brake rotor, Jones will have to go to the rear of the field.
