For the first time since 2014, Landon Cassill will race full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 4 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet full-time in 2021.

Cassill has raced for JDM in 2013-15 and 2018-19, scoring seven Top 10s in 95 starts and a best finish of eighth — three times — with the team.

Cassill finished 12th in Xfinity points and scored three Top 10s in his lone full-time season for JDM in 2014.

In addition to his Xfinity Series experience, Cassill has also made 324 Cup starts, with a best finish of fourth at Talladega in October 2014.

“Johnny and his team in Gaffney mean the world to me and it is a great honor to be back in the No. 4 Chevy. We’ve done so much together and I look forward to accomplishing more this season,” Cassill said. “He’s got a great lineup of drivers to work with this season and I can’t wait to see what we all get done together.”

Cassill’s return to JDM will begin Feb. 13 with the season-opening race at Daytona. It will be his first start with the team since Indianapolis in September 2019 and Cassill’s first Xfinity start since Darlington in May 2020.

Announcements regarding sponsorship for Landon Cassill and the remainder of the JDM driver lineup will be made in the near future.
