“It was kind of frustrating. The KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports) guys, we kind of talked to them before the race started and we were supposed to really work with each other and it didn’t really happen that way,” Hill said.
“You know, we’re happy, we finished fourth at Daytona in this truck, and then one of my crew guys is like ‘you just won!’ and I’m like, I can’t believe this.”
Moffitt led the field to the final green, and while the rest of the field fought for second, the defending champion pulled away towards victory lane.
