Tate Fogleman narrowly edged out Tyler Hill to win Saturday’s Chevrolet Silverado 250 in a wild finish.

Fogleman earned his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win after making a final-lap move to the inside of John Hunter Nemechek.

Fogleman held off Tyler Hill, who also earned his best career NCWTS finish, by 0.052 seconds – the fourth closest Talladega NCWTS finish.

Nemechek, who finished fourth, passed Todd Gilliland for the lead in the tri-oval on the final lap. Gilliland fell back and earned a third-place finish.

The Top 10 finishers are as follows: Tate Fogleman, Tyler Hill, Todd Gilliland, John Hunter Nemechek, Ryan Truex, Cory Roper, Spencer Boyd, Danny Bohn, Chase Purdy, Keith McGee.

Cory Roper’s sixth-place finish was his best NCWTS result since finishing second at Daytona in February.

The next race for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is the October 30 cutoff race at Martinsville Speedway.
