Chase Elliott picks up first career win at Watkins Glen
Chase Elliott came away with the win in the Go Bowling at The Glen Sunday at Watkins Glen International. The victory was the first of 2018 and first of his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series career.
Elliott led 52 laps in his 99th career start, holding off a late charge from Martin Truex Jr.
Martin Truex Jr., who won Stage 1, finished second. Rounding out the top-five finishers were Kyle Busch, Daniel Suarez and Erik Jones.
