Corey Heim to race for 23XI Racing at Nashville SS
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — 23XI Racing named Corey Heim to drive its No. 50 Mobil 1 Toyota Camry next month in the NASCAR Cup Series at Nashville Superspeedway.

“I’m very thankful for this opportunity I’ve been given by Mobil 1 to compete with 23XI in Nashville,” Heim said. “Through my time with Toyota, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people, including those from Mobil 1. We have seen this season how strong 23XI’s Camrys have been. That makes me even more excited to get behind the wheel in Nashville. I’m putting in the effort to be prepared for this opportunity. I cannot wait to get on track with the No. 50 Mobil 1 Toyota team in a few weeks.”
Heim serves as the reserve driver for 23XI Racing and Legacy Motor Club. After a crash left Erik Jones injured, Heim made his Cup Series debut. He finished a respectable 25th place.
The young phenom backed that up with a 20th-place start at Kansas Speedway. In the race, he steadily climbed the running order to run inside the top 15 before the final caution came out. He restarted ninth on the final restart before falling back to 16th. He finished 22nd after getting wrecked on the final lap.
Heim has been on fire in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, netting two wins, six Top-5 finishes and Top-10s in all eight races, with an average finish of 3.5. In his last 30 Truck starts, he has finished outside of the top 10 just three times.
“We are thrilled this relationship with Mobil 1 is giving Corey the opportunity to compete for 23XI Racing in Nashville. Throughout his time as a Toyota Development Driver, Corey has continued to grow as a driver in both the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series as he pursues excellence in his race craft with diligent work in the simulator, film study and through his training sessions at the Toyota Performance Center. He has truly earned this opportunity with Mobil 1 and 23XI, and we look forward to watching him compete against the top drivers in the sport,” said Tyler Gibbs, the general manager of TRD USA.
