Dale Earnhardt Jr. will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Bristol Motor Speedway in September.

JR Motorsports announced Tuesday, January 10, that the two-time Xfinity Series champion will race at the Bristol half-mile short track. Dale Jr. will race the No. 88 Chevrolet with sponsorship from Unilever.

“We’ve been partners with Unilever since the very early days of JR Motorsports,” Earnhardt Jr. said in a press release. “They’ve been with us as our program has grown and been an important part of our success – on and off the track.”

Dale Jr. has raced at the track 12 times in the Xfinity Series, with his last start coming in 2017. He won at the track in 2004.

Dale Jr. has raced in one Xfinity Series race each year since 2018.
