Daniel Suárez extends contract with Trackhouse Racing
CONCORD, N.C. — Trackhouse Racing announced Friday that Daniel Suárez and sponsor Freeway Insurance will return to the No. 99 Chevrolet in 2025.
Suárez will have Freeway as his primary sponsor for a third of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season, including the Daytona 500.

“Everyone at Trackhouse Racing is pleased to continue the relationship with Daniel and Freeway Insurance,” co-owner Justin Marks said. “Daniel has been vital to this team and its culture since the first day. Freeway joined that same year and we have all continued to grow together and will continue into 2025.”
Some people believed Suárez was on the hot seat for 2025 with Trackhouse Racing signing Shane van Gisbergen and Zane Smith to driver developmental deals involving seat time in the NASCAR Cup Series.
However, Suárez quelled many doubters with a close win at Atlanta Motor Speedway in February, arguably boosted him to this new deal.

“Trackhouse is home to me and I have enjoyed every minute I have been here,” Suárez said. “We plan to keep working, growing and winning more races. We can only do that with the support of my Amigos and Amigas at Freeway Insurance. They have backed me for the last several years and we have grown close with their customers and employees.”
Beyond 2025, there is no word on the status of Suárez and Freeway Insurance.
Freeway has been with Suárez ever since he joined Trackhouse in 2021. In fact, the insurance company was his primary sponsor when he won at Atlanta.

Because of the win, Suárez will race in the playoffs for the second time in his Cup Series career. In 2022, he won at Sonoma Raceway and subsequently secured his first berth. That year, he finished a career-high 10th in points.
Daniel Suárez sits 17th in the regular-season points standings, about 92 points behind teammate Ross Chastain. Suárez has five playoff points, all from his win at Atlanta. As of now, that would put him in the No. 13 seed to start the playoffs.
