Denny Hamlin captures first win of 2022 at Richmond

Denny Hamlin came away victorious in the Toyota Owners 400 Sunday, earning his first win of the 2022 season and 47th of his career.

“So proud of this whole FedEx Camry team,” Hamlin said. “…Just unbelievable.”

Kevin Harvick finished runner-up for his first Top-5 finish of the season.

William Byron, Martin Truex Jr., and Kyle Larson rounded out the Top-5 finishers.

Christopher Bell finished sixth, his second consecutive Top-10 finish.

Polesitter Ryan Blaney, who led the most laps (129), finished seventh.

Alex Bowman, Kyle Busch and Austin Dillon rounded out the Top-10 finishers.
