Former President Donald Trump set to attend Coca-Cola 600
CONCORD, N.C. — Former President Donald Trump will attend the Coca-Cola 600 as a fan this Sunday, officials at Charlotte Motor Speedway told TRE.
Officials said Donald Trump is planning to attend the race “as a fan to honor the troops.” Trump will be in-person for Kyle Larson’s second leg of The Double, which officials said won’t be affected by the former president’s appearance.
“His [Trump’s] movements are not expected to have a dramatic impact on the fan experience and we will have some additional security measures in place. His visit will not impact Kyle Larson’s expected arrival from the Indy 500,” a representative for CMS told TRE.

Trump is set to become the first president to attend a race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Earlier this month, the 45th president visited the Miami Grand Prix.
This isn’t the first NASCAR race Trump will have attended either. Trump was at the 2020 Daytona 500. He served as grand marshal for that race.
Track officials didn’t release any further details on Trump’s appearance for security purposes.
