Gibbs earns Elko pole
For the seventh time in the 2021 ARCA Menards Series season, Ty Gibbs will lead the field to the green flag.
Gibbs won the pole for Saturday’s ARCA Menards 250 at Elko Speedway. Gibbs ran a time of 14.469 seconds, 0.055 seconds quicker than outside pole sitter Gracie Trotter.
The full 17-driver lineup is as follows:
Ty Gibbs, Gracie Trotter, Taylor Gray, Corey Heim, Daniel Dye, Thad Moffitt, Jesse Love, Ron Vandermeir Jr., Adam Lemke, Nick Sanchez, Willie Mullins, Bryce Haugeberg, Alex Clubb, Owen Smith, Dick Doheny, Brad Smith, Wayne Peterson.
The ten drivers making their Elko Speedway debut are as follows: Nick Sanchez, Jesse Love, Taylor Gray, Daniel Dye, Gracie Trotter, Adam Lemke, Thad Moffitt, Ron Vandermeir Jr., Owen Smith, Bryce Haugeberg.
Gray qualified third, which is the best among the ten drivers making their track debut.
Gray will also be making his first ARCA Menards Series start since March at Phoenix.
The ARCA Menards 250 at Elko Speedway will start just after 10 p.m. ET (TV: MAVTV, NBC TrackPass).

Currently, he resides in Albuquerque, N.M., where he works for KOB 4, an NBC station. He works as a digital producer and does on-air reports.
