Harvick closing in on Elliott, Baker on all-time wins list

Kevin Harvick picked up his 43rd career win in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, solidifying his spot at 18th on the series all-time wins list.
The next five drivers on the win list ahead of Harvick are Bill Elliott (44), Buck Baker (46), Herb Thomas (48), Kyle Busch (48) and Tony Stewart (49).
Harvick’s victory in the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 was his sixth of the season, the most he has ever scored in an MENCS season.
“These races are hard to win,” Harvick said. “When you’re in position, it’s one of those things that you have to do what you have to do for your team.”
Harvick leads all drivers in victories, stage wins (9) and playoff points (32) this season.
