Joey Logano expects cars to be ‘hauling the mail’ at Bristol

Expect the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series cars to be very fast this weekend at Bristol Motor speedway, according to defending series champion Joey Logano.
“It’s my favorite track, I really enjoy racing there,” Logano said to The Racing Experts. “Move around, it’s fast, it rubbers up a lot, you’re going to see a lot of rubber next week with this high downforce, a bunch of horsepower, we’re going to be hauling the mail.”
The Team Penske driver heads into this Sunday’s Food City 500 fourth overall in the championship standings, with one win and four top-10 finishes in the season’s opening seven races.
In 20 starts, Logano has won twice at the speedway (2014 and 2015) and has finished inside the top-10 in the last two points-awarding races.
The Food City 500 will televised live on FOX Sports 1, Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
