FORT WORTH — With his victory in the SpeedyCash.com 200 Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway, John Hunter Nemechek tied the late Bobby Hamilton for 10 victories apiece in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

The victory was Nemechek’s fourth of the 2021 season, and he became the 18th driver in series history to score double-digit victories.

The two drivers are now tied for 17th all-time on the series wins list.

“I hope this is only the beginning,” Nemechek said. “I hope that we have a lot more to come. I feel like we have a lot more work to do. These guys work their tails off.”

The next few drivers ahead of Nemechek and Hamilton on the wins list are Timothy Peters (11), Brett Moffitt (12), Mike Bliss (13) and Joe Ruttman (13).

Since the beginning of the season, Nemechek has passed drivers including past champions James Buescher (6 wins), Erik Jones (7), and Travis Kvapil (9).
