Justin Haley nabs first Top-10 of 2025
HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Justin Haley snagged his first top-10 of the season Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway, continuing Spire Motorsports strong start to 2025.ย

The No.7 car was running just outside the top-10 late in the final stage of the Straight Talk Wireless 400 when Ryan Blaney blew another engine. Haley took advantage of the restart and was able to hold on for a 10th-place finish.ย
The effort was Haley’s first Top-10 since a seventh-place finish at Talladega last October.
Apart from a 24th-place run at Atlanta and a 34th at Phoenix, Haley has finished 21st or better in every race this season.ย
Haley has pretty much kept pace with his spire teammates this season. Carson Hocevar has run inside the top-10 and top-five at times this season, but only has finished 13th or higher twice, including his second place in Atlanta. Michael McDowell has finished between 20th and 11th in every race except for Phoenix where he finished 27th.
The next couple weeks could be opportunities for more solid runs for the No.7 team, with Darlington and Talladega on the horizon. At Darlington last spring, Haley drove the No.51 car to a ninth place run.ย
In the standings, Haley currently sits 25 points behind the playoff cutline, ranked 24th in the standings.
Haley may require a victory to qualify for the Cup Series playoffs, but opportunities remain ahead of him to secure that win, and with the speed Spire has shown, that could be on the table.ย
