Kurt Busch edges brother Kyle for Atlanta win

HAMPTON, Ga. — In the last race on Atlanta Motor Speedway’s current configuration, Kurt Busch came away with the win in the Quaker State 400 Sunday (July 11).
Busch edged out younger brother Kyle Busch, leading the final 25 laps at the 1.54-mile track.
For Busch, it was his first win of 2021, locking the 2004 series champion into the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

“It’s a huge win to lock yourself in the playoffs, to overcome the adversity of our team and its ownership sale,” Busch said to The Racing Experts.
“It’s a special win to win, to win four times now at Atlanta. The only track I’ve won more at is Bristol.”
Busch has now won at least one race in each of the last eight races.
